The Bruckerhoff Brothers, Willie and Glen gave the cabin to Charleville Vineyards knowing that we would preserve the cabin where they were born. Re-erection and restoration of the cabin took 16 months and it was opened as a bed & breakfast in September 2005.
Log cabin restoration expert John Patiky and owner Jack Russell restored this ‘dog trot’ style cabin to reflect the charm and carpentry style of the 1860’s.
There are two B&B bedrooms on the second floor with a shared bath and common sitting area. The cabin overlooks the vineyard’s spectacular view of one of Ste. Genevieve County’s highest hillsides.
A hearty country breakfast with all the fixin’s is served at the hand crafted harvest table on the main floor. The cabin is furnished in primitive antiques with the focal point being the massive handmade cedar log beds which will complete your wilderness experience.
Dinner is available at several nearby restaurants along the wine trail as well as multiple restaurants in Ste. Genevieve and Farmington.
For reservations call us at 573-756-4537. The B&B is available for guests Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Nights. The rooms are $145.00/room per nite with a full breakfast included.
There is a 2 week cancellation policy in order to get a full refund. We will attempt to fill the rooms but if we can not you will be charged the full amount. There are no cancellations accepted for the month of October.
